Amazon Has Taken Over This Abandoned Mall

Well, it has actually happened, and actually rather quickly. Euclid Square Mall is officially no more, and Amazon has moved in with one of their distribution centers.

Well, it has actually happened, and actually rather quickly. Euclid Square Mall is officially no more, and Amazon has moved in with one of their distribution centers. Construction on the building began not long ago, and is already well under way on the site where Euclid Square Mall formerly sat. The demolition began late 2017, and carried into early 2018, wiping the lot clear of any mall. It's definitely sad to see it go so quickly, and I'm sure heartbreaking for the many that worked, shopped or hung out at the mall in its glory days. Below is an image of what has become of the land, followed by some photos I had taken over the years.
