Sad but times and trends change. Without updating these places won't last. So fitting to take these pictures in the sunset!!
This is true, updates are often necessary in many cases. I do like when the original charm can be kept intact though, but it becomes difficult when places begin to fall apart, or even worse, are uncared for so they fall apart even more.
